(x+1)⁴+(x+1)²+¼

= (x+1)²×(x+1)²+(x+1)²+¼

= (x+1)²+¼

= x²+1+2x+¼

= x²+2x+1+¼

= x²+2x+4+1/4

= x²+2x+5/4

I think it's helpful

so, that is your answer

and answer is correct
