Think about Pascal's Triangle to expand these terms :

(x³ + 3 xy² + 3x²y + y³ ) + ( x³ + 3xy² - 3x²y - y³)

by using formula ( a + b)³ + ( a- b ) ³

Combine like terms,

x³ + 3xy² + 3x²y + y³ + x³ + 3xy² - 3x²y - y³

by cancelling plus, minus..we get,

2x³ + 6xy²

= 2x ( x² + 3y²)
