1.Biotic resources:

Biotic resources are obtained from the biosphere and earth's surface. The biotic resources are also known as living resources. These are the renewable resources that includes both plants and animals. They also provide food and shelter to human beings. They also provide oxygen.

Ex:water,air,soil

2.Developed resources:

The developed resources are defined as the resources which are well developed and are ready to use. Also they are the identified resources which are being used in the present time. The developed resources include Rivers, forest, petroleum etc.

3.Different types of resources:

There are three types of resources

1. NATURAL RESOURCES The resources which are obtained by the nature is called natural resources.

Ex: mountain, rivers

There two types of natural resources

A]. Renewable resources - The resources which can be replenished and which can be reproduce

B]. Non-renewable response - The resources which cannot be replenished again and again once exhausted.

2.HUMAN RESOURCES :- The department of a business or organizations provided by humans are known as human resources.

3.HUMAN MADE RESOURCES :- The resources which is produced by human is called human made resources

Ex:Buildings,Schools etc.

4.Reserved:

Reserve resources are those resources which we know their use and how to use them but we have kept them for future use.

5.Abiotic resources :

Abiotic resources are resources that are nonliving.Human depletion of abiotic resources, such as water, soil, and minerals is a source of concern for humans, as these resources are not easily replenished and are being used above the rate that they can be naturally replaced.

6.National resources:

National resources are resources which are owned by the particular nation and it belongs to the nation only. whereas the other nation people don't have any rights to use.

Ex:national parks.

7.Differences between renewable and non renewable resources :

Renewable Resources:

  • It can be used again and again throughout its life.
  • They are the energy resources which cannot be exhausted.
  • These resources are present in unlimited quantity.
  • Requires large land area for the installation of the power plant.
  • Sunlight, are the examples of renewable resources.
  • It's sustainable resource.

Non renewable resources :

  • It cannot be used again and again.
  • They are the resources that exhaust soon.
  • These resources are present in limited quantities.
  • Requires small area for the installation of the industry.
  • Limestone, coal are examples of mom renewable resources.
  • It's exhaustive resource.

8.Individual resources :

Individual resources are those resources which are owned by an individual and can't be accessed by someone else. These are also referred as private resource. These are indicators of a capitalist country and its influence. For ex: land, house, car etc.

9.International resources :

International resources are the resources which are regulated by some international institutions. The International Resource Privilege is the power to transfer ownership or freely dispose of the natural resources of a country by the authority that countries give to the current leadership or government of that country.

10.Sustainable development :

Sustainable development is the organizing principle for meeting human development goals while simultaneously sustaining the ability of natural systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services based upon which the economy and society depend.

11.Steps to plan resources in India:

Resource planning is a technique or skill of proper or judicious use of resources. ”

Resource planning is a complex process which involves :

(i) Identification and inventory of resources across the regions of the country. This involves surveying, mapping, qualitative and quantitative estimation and measurement of the resources.

(ii) Evolving a planning structure endowed with appropriate technology, skill and institutional Setup for implementing resource development plans.

(iii)Matching the resource development plans with overall national development plans.
