\fbox{\sf\pink{Non - renewable \:resources}}

Non renewable resources or the exhaustible resources are the resources that can exhaust over a long period of usage.

These resources cannot be replaced by natural means as they are formed on their own without human intervention.

They require much time to form on their own as compared to the rate at which they are being used by us.

Hence these resources must be used carefully and judiciously thus by not wasting them.

We can reduce the usage of these exhaustible resources by replacing them with inexhaustible resources ; meaning the ones which can never get finished or exhausted . Solar energy and wind energy come under inexhaustible resources.

The examples of such resources are :

  • \sf\purple{Fossil\: Fuels}
  • \sf\purple{Coal}
  • \sf\purple{Minerals\: like \:iron , copper,etc}
  • \sf\purple{Natural \: gas}
