✓Fresh seeds of your choice such as pumpkins sunflower / pea seeds.

✓ Potting soil which you can buy at your local garden store.

✓A container to hold the soil and your seeds. (students can even use any recycle cup / egg carton/ container for this activity)

✓ Light and optimum temperature

Procedure
Step 1: Fill the container with soil.
Step 2: Plant the seeds inside the soil.
Step 3: Place the container somewhere warm, sunlight is good but try to avoid too much direct sunlight, a window sill is a good spot.
Step 4: Keep the soil moist by watering it every day (Be careful not to give too much water).
Step 5: Record your observations as the seeds germinate and seedlings begin to sprout from the seeds
