For example - Petrol is a scar source of energy but it is used in many ways in vehicle, machines nd many more. That's why resources have alternative uses and there means are scare.

alternative uses of resources means a resource have many uses but due to scarce of such resource we should use that particular resource only in single sense isn't it .
