Respiration in amoeba...

Atleast 200 words..
No lazy answer..
[Dont answer if you dont know..]

kishan160: respiration in amoeba takes place by simple diffusion diffusion is the movement of gas molecules from a region of higher to lower concentration in all the unicellular organisms the respiration generally occurs by diffusion and ther is no complexity like in multicellular organisms

heya !!!

☆Respiration in Amoeba takes place through it's cell membrane called as PLASMA MEMBRANE .

☆The organism does not have any specialised organ to do the respiration .

☆Amoeba gets oxygen gas dissolved in surrounding water through it's plasma membrane by the process of diffusion .

☆The oxygen gas diffused inside the body is used up by Amoeba .

☆In the body the oxygen gas absorbed is used to break down the complex food materials into simple molecules .

☆During these metabolic reactions in the body of Amoeba the oxygen gas is converted into carbondioxide gas .

☆The carbondioxide gas is liberated in the surroundings water through the process of diffusion.

☆Amoeba and paramecium under goes this type of respiration.

hope it helps u dear ^_^
