**The process of breakdown of energy is called cellular respiration... cellular respiration happens in mitochondria of our cells...
**AEROBIC RESPIRATION:- When breakdown of glucose occurs with the use of oxygen ,it is called aerobic respiration
GLUCOSE With the use of oxygen
____________________→
CO2+ H2O+energy
**ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION:- Food can also be broken down , without using oxygen. This is called anaerobic respiration. There are some organism like yeast which can survive in the absence of air . In the absence of oxygen , glucose breaks down into alcohol.
GLUCOSE. Without the use of oxygen
_________________________→
alcohol+ carbon dioxide+ energy
**INHALATION:- The taking in of air rich in oxygen into the body is called inhalation
**EXHALATION:- Giving out of air rich in Carbon dioxide is known as exhalation.
