HEY USER.

Here is your answer..

Respiration is a process in which oxidation of complex food materials take place with the release of energy, carbon dioxide and water.
Sugar is break down into pyruvic acid by the process of glycolisis and further on the pyruvic acid is break down into water, carbon dioxide and energy (36 ATPS). It is aeorobic respiration.

Respiration in humans occurs through nose and then the air passes to nasal passage where there are hair like structures called mucus that traps the dust present in the oxygenated air. Thereafter this oxygenated air passes to trachea and then at last the lungs.

Here in the lungs it passes to bronchi which is further divided into bronchioles and at last into Alveoli. Here the respiratory gases exchanges take place and thus carbon dioxide goes out and oxygen is diffused in lungs. Thus how we respire.

Hope it helps!
