Respiration is a chemical change because it is a process in which glucose present in our body is oxidised to carbon dioxide and water along with the release of energy. During respiration a chemical reaction is involve and chemical change takes place so it is a chemical process.

Answer:

Breathing is a physical change as it just involves take in and out of air that is no chemical change but Respiration is a process in which the cells take Oxygen that is inhaled to break down and give energy and Carbon dioxide is exhaled and also it causes chemical change.
