(1) oxygenic or aerobic respiration :-

glucose use oxygen in their respiration ( presence of oxygen) ..

glucose + Oxygen ---> carbon dioxide + water + energy (ATP)

(2) anaoxygenic or anaerobic respiration :-

glucose without use of oxygen

(absence of oxygen)..
