actually respiration means inhaling oxygen for our survival and this is only done bcoz gases has a high tendency to diffuse faster so various gasses in our environment diffuse s with each other hence we can conclude that respiration only takes place through diffusion ...and in our body too the process of respiration is done by diffusion of particles some time s into our blood sometime s with the organs
