Human respiratory system consists of nostrils, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles and lungs.

\bigstar Human have a pair of nostrils opening out above the upper lip.

\bigstar Pharynx is the common chamber for passage of food and air.

\bigstar Larynx is a cartilaginous box which help in the sound production.

\bigstar Trachea is a straight tube which divides at the level of 5th thoracic vertebra into right and left bronchi.
