Advantage of reservation
It can help the backward casts to upgrade themselfs . They can improve their status in society. The main theory behind reservation was to improve the condition though their education because at that time their condition was worst. If their marks are less then also they can join so that their condition can be improved
this is only advantage I see of reservation .
Disadvantages:
Deserving people getting behind and reserved people coming forward. Reservation is exploiting so called Forward class. Talented people moving abroad for better opportunities.Even the caste for whom the reservation exists not getting the benefits. The people who had already came forward are still using reservation to secure their next generations and the one who really need it are still unaware of it.People getting frustrated and coming out demanding reservations for their caste which often results in country's loss via mob violence and divisive politics.
