Answer:

The word "associative" comes from "associate" or "group"; the Associative Property is the rule that refers to grouping. For addition, the rule is "a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c"; in numbers, this means 2 + (3 + 4) = (2 + 3) + 4. For multiplication, the rule is "a(bc) = (ab)c"; in numbers, this means 2(3×4) = (2×3)4.

Answer:

Length of the diagonals is 22cm

Explanation:

We know that,

In a square the diagonals are equal.

So, we can say that the diagonals OR = OT

According to the question,

→ OR = OT

We are given with,

  • \rm OR = (4x + 2)
  • \rm OT = (3x + 7)

Then,

 \rm \implies \: (4x + 2) = (3x + 7)

 \rm \implies \: 4x + 2 = 3x + 7

 \rm \implies \: 4x - 3x = 7 - 2

 \rm \implies \: x = 5

 \therefore \rm \: x = 5

Hence, the diagonals are :-

  • \rm OR = (4x + 2) = 4(5) + 2 = 22cm
