Ans is 4....how??
I think 2nd is wrong bcoz endosperm is formed before embryo formation.

no 2nd is not wrong..
after fertilization the 2nd gamete fused with secondary diploid nucleus to PEN .
hence endosperm is formed after fertilization and simultaneously double fertilization we can say..

hi dear!!

yes you are right that  endosperm is formed before embryo formation.

but here "ensures formation of endosperm only after fertilisation" ..in this i think "fertilisation" term refers to double fertilisation and not syngamy.so the statement is correct becoz endosperm develops only after double fertilisation.
