✨The Battle of plassey was fought between the British east India company and Siraj - ud - Daullah who was the Nawab of Bengal at that time .

✨This major event took place on 23 June , 1757.

✨As a result of this battle , the British won it . It consolidated their presence in Bengal and was a crucial step In their further expansion over india .
