let the two forces be F1 and F2
F1=F2=F
x=90
then the resultant of the two forces is given by
=√(F1²+F2²+2F1F1cosx)
=√(F²+F²+0) (as cos90=0)
=√2 F
but √2F=1414
(√2=1.414)
F*1.414=1414
F=1000 N

sqrt(2)*a(mod)=R(mod)
here 1.414×F=1414
