Results of war-

After the end of 2nd World War there was a conference held in Potsdam, Germany and it was decided that countries lost in war had to pay reparations of the war.

Austria was occupied by all the Allies.

Germany was divided into two, east and west Germany where East Germany would be under Communist rule and West Germany under Democracy. Berlin was also divided into east and west Berlin.

Japan was occupied by the allied powers at the end of 2nd World War.

It was led by General Douglas MacArthur, the Supreme Commander of the Allied Powers.

C.

The two Super Powers that emerged after the 2nd World War were USA and USSR or Soviet Union.

D.

Some of the countries that received Independence after the war were India, Indonesia and Philippines.

E.

UN came into effect on 24th October 1945 after the 2nd World War.

This was a replacement for the League Of Nations with an aim of preventing any further conflict like this among nations.
