Explanation:

1ohm and 2ohm resistors are connected

in series. Therefore effective resistance

= sum= 3ohm

Now the two 3ohm resistors are connected in parallel(fig.2), so

1/R=1/3+1/3=2/3

R=3/2ohm

we know current I=V/R

=1.5×2/3

=1A
