Returned parcel received at facility means

This happens in two instances. One instance is when you refuse to take delivery of a parcel that has been couriered to your address. The other instance is when there is no one to take delivery of the parcel at the address mentioned on the courier irrespective of repeated attempts to make the delivery.

In either case, the parcel is returned by the courier office to the facility from where it was originally sent. When the facility receives the returned parcel, the tracking status is set as “Returned parcel received at facility”.

This means parcel is sent back to the facility where it was originally sent.
This may happen in different cases . The most common reason is that when someone refuse to take that particular parcel  due to which the courier officer sent it back. 
Another possible reason may include the non-receiving of the parcel at the addressed mentioned due non-availability of any person to take it.
