There are certain animals which are called as the ruminants. The cow is an example of a ruminant.

The animal can swallow the food and then bring back the swallowed food in the mouth.

The swallowed food is later chewed and then digested.

The organism can perform reverse peristalsis in which the food is brought back to the mouth for chewing. By this we can say that man is differnet from cow to chewing food particles.
