Given:

Veeru's Roll number = Reverse of Jai's roll number

Larger number = \frac{6}{5} times the smaller one

To Find:

The larger roll number.

Solution:

Let us assume that the digits of the roll number are 'a' and 'b'.

So, Jai's roll number is '10a+b', and,

     Veeru's roll number will be '10b+a'.

For Finding the larger number,

Let us assume that Veeru's roll number is larger than Jai's roll number.

According to the question,

                             ~~~~10a+b=\frac{6}{5}*(10b +a)\\5(10a+b)=6(10b+a)\\~~~50a+5b=60b+6a\\~~~50a-6a=60b-5b\\~~~~~~~~~~44a=55b
                                           a=\frac{55}{44}b
From the above equation, it can be seen that a is greater than b.
So our assumption is wrong.
Thus, Jai's roll number is larger than Veeru's roll number.
