Explanation:

Television reviews focus on a range of TV shows, such as nail-biting dramas or situation comedies, but they all provide a critical perspective that entices readers to watch the show. In a review, draw upon a show's performance and production, and illustrate the strengths and weaknesses of a show, as well as what audiences might enjoy most. Reviews evaluate the overall production and performance of a show and also compare the show to the cast and crew's previous work.

We are required to give a review of any one of the serials which are shown on television. The review for the serial is written for a serial called CID.

CID is such a serial I think that all stages of the people whether they are old, young, or even children would have definitely watched at least one serial. This serial became so famous that it was telecasted for many years continuously. This was also dubbed in many other languages.

It is a detective series that is shown on Sony television and this started showing its episodes as early as 1998. The actual release date of the first episode was 21 January 1998.

CID's location was set in Mumbai. This is the series that has been telecasted the longest. This series was telecasted continuously for a period of twenty years. The last new episode of this serial was telecasted on  27 October 2018. Till now reruns are very famous on the Hindi channels for this serial.

The last episode was '  Aakhri Chunauti '. There were approximately 1500 episodes in this serial each showing an interesting and gripping detective story. The characters of the series like ACP  Pradyuman, Inspector Daya,  Freddy, Dr. Salunkhe, and Dr. Tarika are famous even today only because of the serial.

In fact, if Dayanand Shetty acts in a movie even now the movie has to have his famous dialogue of his which was used in the series. That being " Daya, Dharwaza Thod."

People got a motivation to turn into detectives after seeing this series. Children especially have this as one of their games when they used to meet for their playtime. Parents also loved this series as it encouraged the children to see and use their brains as to who could be the killer instead of wasting their time seeing cartoons.

This serial has also made a place for itself in the Guinness Book of World Records for its episode called " Inheritance". This episode was shot in one shot without being cut.

The officers of the serial have such a loving relationship with each other like brothers of a different mother. This gets them a lot of respect from the other members of the crew.

Other than showing stories of kidnapping, terrorist attacks, and many more the director has tried to bring a romantic twist into the series. These romantic twists shown in the series have helped to increase the attention span of the viewers.

Overall the plot of the series is very thrilling and very coordinated.

It helps to bring out the feeling of patriotism among the audience when these officers put their lives at risk while solving the cases.

After reading the above please younger generation don't lose heart that you didn't get the opportunity to see this serial. As there are rumors of this series to be bought back.

If these rumors are true then Indian television is definitely going to improve with this serial. The only problem why this series was stopped was because Sony TV kept on changing the timing of the series  If the series is able to get primetime I do not see why this series cannot prove to be the same hit it proved to be years ago.
