Beyond the fact that greenery is beautiful, it serves us with providing us many other services at no charge to us. One of the most important reasons to preserve greenery is the simple fact that without greenery, we will have zero oxygen to breath. Greenery produces oxygen for all air breathing life, by cutting the trees and demolishing forests we are depleting our oxygen supply.

In the recent times the role of Greenery in the promotion of universal peace has been identified and it is happy thing to observe much is going on to restore the greenery as an antidote to the damaged environment. The damaged environment has already started its catastrophic results in the form of Global warming which is the very block of every development around the world. So it is the crucial time to find a tool to battle against it. Otherwise universal social unrest prevails in many forms to root out the life on this planet, all caused by the human faults only.

Beyond providing us with oxygen and beauty, greenery also provides the ground with a natural erosion protection by the strong roots penetrating deep into soil and helping to hold it in place in the event of floods or other natural disasters. Greenery in the landscape provides homeowners with a beauty that is not found by building structures of any type.

Global warming is the prime block to the nations causing much damage to the environment and it can be checked by means of enriched greenery. In this process Greenery, water and soil play the vital role to sustain the planet and we have to pay much attention to preserve these core components of the sustainable development. These thee components are inseparable from the life of a man. The man is the unit of the nation and his raise or fall reflects his nation. It is right time for a reformer or social servant to act for the restoration of peace on the planet. As a tool of its restoration, the role of Greenery and water plays the prime role. To provide the source of Greenery one should start a central nursery with the indigenous plants. It should provide the plants of Back Yard Horticulture, Kitchen Garden and agro forestry.
