The two characters - narrator's grandfather, a retired school teacher and

narrator's colleagues, a middle aged woman, are symbolised as Horegallu ( a stone which absorbs pressure ).

In our life we should share other's sorrows to make them feel comfortable.

This is the beautiful message given in the story ' Horegallu '.
