James has a part-time job that allows him to spend and save a little money. His girlfriend increasingly pressures him to spend money on her. James needs to save money for technical school, but puts very little away these days.

A relationship is fine as long as it does not affect the person in a bad manner. James must understand this before going on with his relation ship with his girlfriend. He is trying to save for the future but his harsh relationship stops him from doing so.
James must either speak to his girlfriend about this and she must understand what hardship he is going through in his life. If she doesn't care, then James is left with only one good option- ending the relationship. "To love someone is to understand each other" if his girlfriend does not understand or care for his feelings, then she is not a true girlfriend. Thus James must end his relationship with her
