Answer:

1.Nutrition is the science that interprets the nutrients and other substances in food in relation to maintenance, growth, reproduction, health and disease of an organism. It includes ingestion, absorption, assimilation, biosynthesis, catabolism and excretion.

2.Four Main Heterotrophic Nutrition Types

This consists of 5 stages, ingestion, digestion, absorption, assimilation and defecation. Organisms feed on dead organic remains of other organisms. Organisms obtain food from other living organisms (the host), with the host receiving no benefit from the parasite.

3.Autotrophs are known as producers. Examples include plants, algae, and some types of bacteria. Heterotrophs are known as consumers.

4.

the process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize nutrients from carbon dioxide and water. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a by-product. Equation:Aerobic respiration= glucose+oxygen-->carbon dioxide and water; photosynthesis=carbon dioxide + water--> glucose (carbohydrate) + oxygen.

5.he Sun is the Ultimate Source of Energy. Every morning the sun rises, bringing light and heat to the earth, and every evening it sets. ... Plants convert light energy from the sun into chemical energy (food) by the process of photosynthesis. Animals eat plants and use that same chemical energy for all their activities.

6.Cell is the structural and unit of life.It is the smallest unit of life
