Given :- Auro, Bosco, Cruize and Diana purchase an office for Rs. 1,12,00,000. The share of Auro, Cruize and Diana is 366.66% that of Bosco. The share of Bosco, Cruize and Diana is 460% that of Auro. Cruize's share is 40% that of Auro, Bosco and Diana. Find the sum of the shares of Bosco and Diana ?

Solution :-

Let share of Auro is Rs.A , Bosco is Rs.B Cruize is Rs.C and Diana is Rs.D .

so,

→ A + B + C + D = 1,12,00,000 -------- Eqn.(1)

we know that,

  • 366.66% = 366(2/3)% = (1100/3) = (11/3)
  • 460% = (460/100) = (23/5)
  • 40% = (2/5)

so,

→ (A + C + D) = (11/3)B

→ 3A + 3C + 3D = 11B ----- Eqn.(2)

and,

→ (B + C + D) = (23/5)A

→ 5B + 5C + 5D = 23A ----- Eqn.(3)

also,

→ C = (2/5)(A + B + D)

→ 5C = 2A + 2B + 2D ------- Eqn.(4)

putting value of Eqn.(4) in Eqn.(3)

→ 5B + 5D + 2A + 2B + 2D = 23A

→ 7B + 7D = 23A - 2A

→ 7(B + D) = 21A

→ B + D = 3A

so,

→ 5C = 2A + 2(B + D)

→ 5C = 2A + 2*3A

→ 5C = 8A

→ C = (8A/5)

putting these values in Eqn.(1)

→ A + 3A + (8A/5) = 1,12,00,000

→ (20A + 8A)/5 = 11200000

→ 28A = 11200000 * 5

→ A = Rs.2000000 .

therefore,

→ C = (8A/5) = (2000000*8)/5 = Rs.3200000 .

→ B + D = 3A = 3 * 2000000 = Rs.6000000 (Ans.)
