In a long row, Asha is nineteenth from the left while Bishu is twenty-first from the right end. If Carol is twenty-eighth
from the left and is exactly between Asha and Bishu, then how many persons are there in the row?​

Solution :-

given that,

→ Asha = 19th from Left .

→ Bishu = 21 from right .

→ Carol = 28 from left = Exactly between Asha and Bishu .

conclusion :-

• Students between Asha and carol = Students between carol and Bishu .

so,

→ Students between Asha and carol = 28 - 19 = 9 students .

then,

→ Position of Asha from left = Carol + 9 students = 28 + 9 = 37 .

therefore,

→ Total person in row = Position of Asha from (Left + Right) - 1 = 37 + 21 - 1 = 57 persons (Ans.)

To Find  :  how many persons are there in the row​

Solution:

asha is nineteenth from the left

Carol is twenty- eighth from the left

Carol  is exactly between asha and bishu,

carol is 28 - 19 = 9 ahead of Asha and carol will be 9 before Bishu

=>  Bishu  is 28 + 9 = 37 th from left        

    bishu is twenty- first from the right end

Bishu  37th from left => 36 people in left of Bishu

Bishu is 21st from right end => 20 people in right of BIshu

Total People = 36  + Bishu  +  20

= 36 + 1 + 20

= 57

57  persons are there in the row​
