it".

1. mass discontent important to popular rebellions

2. dissident political movements with choice participation

3. strong and joining motivations across main parts of the society

Irawat's movement:

  • Irawat carried many revolutionary movements during his lifetime. He formed the Nikhil Manipur Mahasabha along with his fellow reformers, which fought against feudalism and monopoly in Manipur.
  • During World War 2, he partnered with 25,000 guerillas to safeguard Manipur against Japanese.  Hijam Irawat was born in 1896. He was also known as Jana Neta Hijam Irawat. He was one of the founders of the Communist Party in Manipur. He passed away in the year 1951.
