Hi ,
************
We know the associative proporty
If a , b , c are rational numbers
then
a × ( b × c ) = ( a × b ) × c
*******************
Here ,
a = 3/7 , b = 5/6 ,
c = 1/4 ;
LHS = 3/7( 5/6 × 1/4 )
= 3/7 × 5/24
= 1/7 × 5/8
= 5/56----( 1 )
RHS = ( 3/7 × 5/6 ) × 1/4
= 5/14 × 1/4
= 5/56----( 2 )
From ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) , we conclude that
LHS = RHS
I hope this helps you.
