Explanation:

There are two voices in the English Grammar: Active voice and Passive voice.

In active voice, the subject performs the action in the sentence. For example:-

  • Diana is playing the violin.

In passive voice, the subject receives the action in the sentence.

  • The violin is being played by Diana.

To change the given sentences from active voice to passive voice,

✶ We identify the subject (doer of the action), object (recipient of the action) and the tense of the sentence.

✶ We swap the subject and the object, placing the preposition 'by' before the subject and change the subject to its passive form. For example,

  • He → him
  • She → her
  • They → them

✶ We add an auxiliary verb according to the tense of the sentence and change the verb to its participle. For example,

  • Ate → was eaten
  • Was playing → was being played
  • Had helped → had been helped

And we are done! :D
