The rewritten statements are:

(i) The prices do not increase or the wages rise.

(ii) It is not cold or we wear woolen clothes.

(iii) I do not take cold water bath or I can catch cold.

  • A conditional statement has the keywords "if" and "then".
  • When we write a statement without the conditional form, we need to negate the if statement, use the keyword "or" and then write the other half of the statement.
  • In the first statement, "the prices increase" is the if statement and "the wages rise" is the other half.
  • In the second statement, "it is cold" is the if statement and "we wear woolen clothes" is the other half.
  • In the third statement, "I take cold water bath" is the if statement and "I can catch cold" is the other half.
