1.       The number of turtles has been reduced by tourist activities.

Note: A plural verb is needed after a/an (large, small, etc.) number of…. Since in the sentence we have ‘the number’, so we will use singular verb.

2.       Sun beds and sun umbrellas on nesting beaches are put by tourists.    

Or

Sun beds and sun umbrellas are put by tourists on nesting beaches.    

3.       Female turtles are frightened by noise and lights from hotels.

4.       Turtles’ eggs are dug up by dogs.

5.       Baby turtles are eaten by large fish/fishes.

Note: Both fish/fishes can be used as plural.
