Solution :–

Let, the age of Ria be x years and the age of Rahul be (x+4) years

After 10 years,

Afe of Ria = (x + 10) years

Age of Rahul = (x + 14) years

ATQ :—

$\sf{\implies \dfrac{x+10}{x+14}=\dfrac{9}{10}}$

$\sf{\implies 10x+100=9x+126}$

$\sf{\implies 10x-9x=126-100}$

$\sf{\implies x=26}$

.°. The present age of Ria is 26 years and

the present age of Rahul is = (26+4)=30 years.
