Given :–

Ria is 4 years elder to Rahul.

After 10 years, the ratio of the ages of Rahul to Ria is 9:10

To find :–

Find Rahul's present age.

Solution :–

Let, the age of Ria be x years and the age of Rahul be (x+4) years

After 10 years,

Afe of Ria = (x + 10) years

Age of Rahul = (x + 14) years

ATQ :—

 </p><p></p><p>\sf{\implies \dfrac{x+10}{x+14}=\dfrac{9}{10}} \\</p><p>	</p><p> \sf{\implies 10x+100=9x+126} \\</p><p></p><p>\sf{\implies 10x-9x=126-100} \\</p><p></p><p>\sf{\implies x=26} \\

.°. The present age of Ria is 26 years and

the present age of Rahul is = (26+4)=30 years.
