Rice cannot be grown in winter. Is it true? If so, why?​

Explanation:

During winter season, large amounts of water is unavailable. Thus because of lack of water and unfavorable climatic conditions, rice shouldn't be grown during winter. Proper amount of water and suitable climate conditions prevail in the the rainy season. Hence monsoon is preferred for growing rice.
