*Question:

Rice is mixed in the ratio 2:3 and sold at Rs. 22 per kg, resulting in a profit 10%. If the cost of thesmaller quantity be Rs. 14 per kg, what is the cost per kg of the larger quantity?

*Answer:

Cost price of mixture per Kg :—

= 22×100 / 1100

= 20Rs.

Let cost of larger quantity per Kg = x then →

→ x - 20/20 - 14

→ 3x - 60 = 40 - 28

→ 3x - 60 = 12

→ 3x = 12 + 60

→ 3x = 72

→ x = 72/3

→ x = 24

Hence ,

The cost per kg of the larger quantity = 24.
