Mrs. Smith went to the police claiming that her vintage necklace was missing. When the police arrived, they saw no signs of a break-in. Only one window was broken. There was a total mess inside the house and dirty footprints all over the floor.
The next day, Mrs. Smith was arrested for fraud. Why?

Mrs.Smith was lying that her Necklace was missing .From the door, there was no chance to come in for the thief. Only way was the windows. The thief brokes the windows to come in, the glass pieces fall inside the house. But there were no glass pieces. So, Mrs.Smith was the one who done the disturbances in the home and broke the window. All the footprints were of her only. But she is caught as Fraud as there were no glass pieces inside.
