a man goes to his room in 12th floor .He use lift till 9th floor and use staircase for other 3 floor .But come down using lift from 12th floor to 1st floor in lift.Y doesn't he use lift for going up from 9th floor.

He is shorter height and his hand doesn't reaches till the button of 12th floor but can only till 9th floor.
