Secret is a thing which is unknown or untold to any person or sometimes no one. Secrets are things which are not meant to be shared with other.

“If you have me, you want to share me.” This statement in the question says that whenever we have a secret, some people want to share it with whom they trust. It is rarely to be seen that people share their secrets with someone, but still some prefer to tell it to the ones whom they trust.

Secrets as mentioned above are the things which aren't meant to be know to a large group of people. But when it leaks out, it isn't a secret anymore. “If you share me, you haven't got me”. This statement means the same.

Whenever we tell a secret to anybody, if it leaks out and most of the people know about it, obiviously it wouldn't be a secret anymore.

So, secrets aren't with us when we share it.
