No of members = 9
This is a confusing riddle but interesting at the same time. As it is given that there are 6 daughters, and each daughter has one brother, it means each daughter shares the same brother.
So, here we find that,
Six daughters + 1 boy = 7 children
And two are Mr and Mrs Mustard .
Hence, 7 + 2 = 9, there are 9 members in the family of mustards.

Mr. and Mrs. Mustard have six daughters.
So now total people = Mr. Mustard + Mrs. Mustard + Six daughters
= 1 + 1 + 6
= 8
And Each daughters has one brother. I means there is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mustard and he is the yougest children of their family.
So, all the six daughters has a younger brother.
Hence ,
Total member of Mustard family
= Mr. Mustard + Mrs. Mustard + Six daughters + One son
= 1 + 1 + 6 + 1
= 9
