6/35 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Total distance = 4 km

Distance traveled by cycling = 7/5 km

Distance traveled by taxi = 17/7 km

Distance traveled on foot = x km (let)

Acc. to question.

7/5 + 17/7 + x = 4

=> (49 + 85)/35 + x = 4

=> 134/35 - 4 + x = 0

=> x = -134/35 + 4

=> x = -{(134+140)/35}

=> x = 6/35 km

Therefore, she walked a distance of 6/35 km.

Let the distance covered on foot be x,

7/5 + 17/7 + x = 4

7×7+17×5/35 + x = 4

49+85/35 + x = 4

134/35 + x = 4

x = 4 - 134/35

x = 140-134/35

x = 6/35

Distance she walked on foot is 6/35 km.

Hope it helps!!
