According to pythagorus theorem chart some lengths are fixed in pair like
3,4,5 as well as 5,12,13

Three sides of right angle triangle
The sides join perpendicularly called Perpendicular and Base
The line join them means the third side called Hypotenuse

Perpendicular = P
Base = B
Hypotenuse = H

Pythagorus theorem is

(H)² = (P)² + (B)²

(H)² = (5x)² + (12x)²

(H)² = 25x² + 144x2

(H)² = 169x²

H = 13x

Perpendicular sides are 5 and 12 the third one is 13 in the ratio

=> perimeter = sum of all three sides

=> 5x + 12x + 13x = 120

=> 30x = 120

=> x = 120/30

=> x = 4

Length of sides are

=> 5 × 4 = 20cm

=> 12 × 4 = 48cm

=> 13 × 4 = 52cm

Hello,

Let to be perpendicular sides x

then,

Sides are given

5x and 12x

So,

Applying Pythagoras theorem,

hypotenuse = √{(5x)^2 + (12x)^2}
=√(25x^2 + 144x^2)
=√(169x^2)
=13x

So,

Other one sides adding to Given statement
13x + 12x + 5x = 120
30x = 120
x = 120/30 = 4

Again

Length of sides are to be

5x =5×4 =20 cm
12x =12×4 =48 cm
13x =13×4 =52 cm
