Given : In right-angled triangle △PQR ,

PQ = 3 cm, PR = 5 cm and QR = 4 cm

To find :  show that PQ² + QR² = PR²

Solution:

PQ² + QR² = PR²

LHS = PQ² + QR²

PQ = 3 cm

QR = 4   cm

=> LHS = 3²  + 4²

=> LHS = 9 + 16

=> LHS = 25

=> LHS = 5²

=> LHS = PR²

=> LHS = RHS

QED

Hence  Shown

PQ² + QR² = PR²
