Solution :

Q(a) : The side of a square is 41 m . Find the cost of fencing it at a rate of Rs. 23 per meter.

A >

The side of the square is 41 m .

Perimeter of the square :

> 4 × Side

> 4 × 41 m

> 164 m .

The cost is at a rate of Rs. 23 per meter .

Thus , the total cost becomes :

> 164 × 23

> Rs. 3772

Answer:

a) Given side of the square = 41m

Its perimeter = 4 X side

= 4 X 41

= 164m

Now the cost of fencing 1m = 23rs.

So the cost of fencing 164m = 23 X 164

= 3772 rs.

b) Given in 16 month Ramesh earn 36,800

So Ramesh earns 36,800/16 = 2300 rs. in 1 month

So Ramesh earns 2300 X 5 = 11,500 rs.
