These electric and magnetic waves travel perpendicular to each other and have certain characteristics, including amplitude, wavelength and frequency. General properties of all electromagnetic radiation : Electromagnetic radiation can travel through empty space.
USES :
1) Used to broadcast t.v. and radio.
2) Used in cooking , radar,Telephone and other signals.
3) Transmits heat from Sun ,fires and radiators.
4) Make things able to be seen.
5) Absorbed by the skin , in fluorescent tubes.
6) Used to view inside of bones and objects.
7) Used in medicine for killing cancer cells .
