Every citizen has the right to vote and the right to participate or contest in the elections to form a government.
It is necessary that the citizens should have the right to express their opinion , form political parties and take part in political activities in any democractic election.
Rights protect the minority from the oppression of majority. The right ensure that the majority cannot go according to its wish.

as we all know what is democracy democracy is a form of government in which the rulers are elected by the people so we can say that writes a substance of democracy as if any person in country don't have any rights then we cannot call it as democratic country this can be explained by the features of democracy as we read there are four features of democracy
1) major decisions taken by the ruler
2) free and fair electoral competition
3) one person one vote one value
