the volume of first cone = volume of the second cone
 \frac{1}{3}  \times \pi {r}^{2} h =   \frac{1}{3}   \times \pi {r}^{2} h
 {2}^{2}  \times 5.4 =   {1.5}^{2} h
The answer is 9.6 cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

H=5.4 cm. (first cone)

R=2cm,

Second cone only given radius = 1.5cm

So, the volume of first cone=the volume of recast melted cone

1/3πr*2h = 1/3πr*2h

1/3 is cut out by 1/3 (cross multiply)

π is cut out by π (cross multiply)

R-2×2 × H-5.4 = R-1.5×1.5×h

5.4×4 =1.5×1.5×h

21.6/1.5=1.5×h

14.4=1.5×h

14.4/1.5=h

9.6 is the correct answer

Thank you
